A Swindon branch of the National Autistic Society was launched with
a party on 5 July at Brimble Hill School.
The branch has been set up to provide information and activities for
parents with children in the autistic spectrum. Although the number of
people with autism in Swindon is unknown, the disability touches the
lives of half a million people in Britain.
