Biz Meet offers point
for home alone workers
Realising that working from home
or as a sole trader can be isolating,
two local entrepreneurs have set up
a face to face social network group

nesses. They want to help others
find the same kind of supportive
network through Biz Meet.
“We both work from home and find
that meeting people does not always
happen naturally,” said Mary. “You
have to make the effort to get out.
We wanted to be part of a group
where the emphasis is on socialising
as well as networking.”
The rapidly growing group meets
monthly and members talk about
work, exchange ideas and socialise
in a relaxed atmosphere. Because
its aimed at home workers Biz Meet
is attracting people who would not
normally consider joining more
formal business groups. Open Sundays 10am-2pm during January
