Shake your maracas and bang a drum
The Swindon Samba band is launching in September at Isambard Com-
munity School with the first eight lessons to get the band up and playing
together led by an experienced leader.
No experienced needed, just enthusiasm to make music together. To

Creating music all over
Music Alive based at Bentham House in Purton provides lots of opportunity
to learn an instrument, write, make and record music.
Drum circles are open to all - fortnightly on Thursdays at Isambard
Community School and at Lower Shaw Farm on the last Tuesday of the
month.
The Monday Evening Session Society (MESS) is a weekly folk music
session held in four different pubs, giving everybody the chance to sing
and play.
Music sessions at Bentham House are individually tailored to meet
the needs of disabled people.
