Comments on clusters elsewhere

I was interested to read comments from Karen Leakey in the August
Link and thought, how true they are, in particular the last paragraph
about councillors listening to residents.
I understand that Ian Bickerton is in the chair of the cluster covering
our area and he has already had three meetings with our councillors. As
yet the interested public have not taken part in these meetings. Could
somebody please enlighten me on when we will be considered able to
participate, or do we agree with Karen Leakey that we are not to be invited?
Comments from ‘those on high’ would be appreciated sometime.
To finish, how well organised the North Swindon Cluster seems to
be (as reported in The Link). They have had one meeting already in the
Tawny Owl, in July, and another one arranged for the autumn. Perhaps
we haven’t got a decent pub to meet in.
