Family Centre holds 30 years
name relaunch open day
West Swindon Family Centre is having an open day on Tuesday 23
August, 10am to 2pm, to mark thirty years since it came into being in
Toothill, and to welcome the return to its original name after a time
known as the West Swindon Children’s Centre.
There will be a children’s entertainer and attractions like face painting,
lucky dip and cream teas.
All parents and carers from across West Swindon and their children
are invited to drop-in and enjoy the fun, and to discover the range of
groups and advice services the centre offers families.
Swindon Library’s Bookstart Bear visited the family centre to promote
the value of reading and singing from the earliest age
