             Youngsters from Belarus who live
             in  radiated  areas  affected  by  the
             Chernobyl nuclear reactor disaster
             over 20 years ago were hosted over
             the  Christmas  period  by  families
             in  Swindon  linked  to  Chernobyl
             Children in Need.
              One of the many visits and treats
             enjoyed by the children was to re-
             ceive a mountain of Christmas gifts
             for their families contributed by staff
             at Thames Water in Kembrey Park.
              Equally  important  was  a  check
             up by Brendon Ball, below, and his
             colleagues  at  Freshbrook  Dental
             Practice who found a lot of dental de-

                                                                   Pupils at Greendown School braved snow, frozen ground and sub-zero
