invited to take part.
01793 734777 Centre chair Steph Bird said, “we’ll have a big screen so everyone can
enjoy the live broadcast of Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding
and there will be a kings and queens fancy dress, with family fun and
games including a bouncy castle.”
During the special day families can just turn up, bringing a plate of
food to share at lunch. In the evening there is a ticketed family event, with
hog roast and disco, as well as entertainment from some of the groups
that meet at the centre.
Neal Aplin, a committee member who is organising the event, wants
everyone to join in. “Why waste an extra bank holiday - let’s get the com-
munity together and celebrate a national event.”
Details of the day will be confirmed after wedding timings are announced.
