Maximum turn out at Mad March Hare
There were lots of bunny ears and rabbit painted faces in evidence,
at the fourth Mad March Hare on Sunday 27 March. Over 800
entrants ran, walked and pushed baby buggies around either
5km or 10km circular routes from Greendown School in Grange
Park, through parts of West Swindon and Lydiard Park. Eighty
volunteers directed participants along the way.
The Swindon women volunteers who organised the day are
hoping to have raised £11,000 which will total £40,000 for Break-
through Breast Cancer (Wiltshire) in the last four years.
