                                                                   All 200 places were snapped up for the eight back-to-back RPM Cycling
                                                                   sessions at Link Centre in aid of Comic Relief on Sunday 20 March.
                                                                     Organiser Caroline Rhodes said, “there was a fantastic atmosphere
                                                                   with some people trying RPM for the very fi rst time and others stepping
                                                                   out of their comfort zone and doing multiple classes. Three people did
                                                                   all eight which was incredible.”
                                                                     As a result of their marathon effort £1,200 was raised for charity.

                                                                        Outdoor fi tness in Redhouse

                                                                   There are no longer any excuses for Redhouse residents not to get fi t this
                                                                   spring with the installation of brand new outdoor fi tness equipment for
                                                                   adults in the park adjacent to Eastbury Way, opposite Doulton Close.
                                                                      The kit, installed in early April,
                                                                   has  been  funded  by  Blunsdon  St
                                                                   Andrews Parish Council.
                                                                      Dennis Rogers, right, who lives
                                                                   opposite the park was keen to give
                                                                   the rowing machine a try. “It’s quite
                                                                   good – and my wife can keep an eye
                                                                   on me through the window,” he said.
                                                                      Year 10 students from Isambard
                                                                   Community  School  were  also  in-
                                                                   vited to try out the fi tness stations.
                                                                   “It’ll be good to get the teachers to
                                                                   do something sponsored here,” said
                                                                   Harvey Barrow.
