- What is inSwindon BID?

inSwindon BID is a Business
Improvement District (BID), set up
in 2007, which promotes, manages
and co-ordinates operations and
events in the town centre. It is mainly
funded by the retailers and other
businesses within the town centre
area. In February 2012 the Company
was successful in a renewal to secure
the future of the company for a
further five-years at a vote taken on
by the Business Improvement District
investors.

The company manages the Street
Team Ambassadors, the Security Radio
Network, major events and campaigns
such as the Christmas Lights Switch
On and Armed Forces Day, as well
as providing business support and
training to investors.
