Warm welcome for
Wenlock in North Swindon
Olympic mascot Wenlock brought
the spirit of the Games to Oakhurst
Primary School at the end of May
after a huge response from parents
who nominated the school to the
Lloyds Bank pledge.
Not only did the school earn a visit
from the mascot who was excitedly
received in an assembly, Oakhurst
was only one of ten schools in Britain
to be allocated 20 tickets by Lloyds
to watch the GB football team at
the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff.
