OPTIMA MOTORS 39A Station Road, Waiting and parking restrictions proposed
Tel: (01793) 840667 Wootton Bassett to protect academy pupils
The severe congestion outside Lydiard Park Academy in Grange Park
has caused Swindon Council to publish proposals for ‘School Keep
Clear’ and ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ restrictions on Grange Park Way,
Sudeley Way, Hampton Drive, Mildmay Close and Hay Lane.
The aim is to restrict parking where obstruction and visibility is of
concern and help ensure good visibility for pedestrians and cyclists
travelling to and from the school.
The draft order, plan and reasons for the proposal can be seen at the
One Stop Shop, Wat Tyler House, Euclid Street during opening hours.
Objections or representations should be made in writing to Dave Potter,
director of planning, at the address above by 8 January.
