Nationwide team tidy up Toothill Farm

The front garden at Toothill Farm was given a major make-over in late
May with twenty five staff from the Protection and Investments Team
weeding and then planting flowering shrubs, removing a fence and
preparing a surface ready for an outdoor table tennis table to be installed.
Team leader John Wilkinson said it was good to work with colleagues
in a different setting. “We’re all so busy in front of computers in the office
day to day, so it was really great to get out and do a team project where
we’ve had to work out different problems and discover new skills.”
Nationwide aims to undertake twice as much community work during
2012 and 2013 compared with last year.
