                                                Jubilee parade celebrates people of the planet

                                      Children at Oakhurst Primary School made a spectacular promenade around their community dressed in
                                      costume and waving flags of countries around the world.
                                        The  school  follows  an  interna-
                                      tional primary school curriculum
                                      and  each  class  is  named  after  a
                                      major city.
                                        Three classes went a step further
                                      by using the Jubilee parade as an
                                      opportunity to celebrate the Hindu
                                      festival of Holi where people be-
                                      come totally covered in colourful
                                      powder paint, right.
                                        Parents  and  friends  watched
                                      the cavalcade as it wound its way
                                      through the estate, with beat po-
                                      liceman PC Troy Smith organising
                                      street  crossing  patrols,  returning
                                      to school where children sang God
                                      bless  the  Queen  by  Out  of  The
                                      Ark  Music,  and  enjoyed  a  dance   C h i l d r e n   a t
                                      and drumming session with Kaya   schools  in  the
