Dolphins look for paralympic talent in November
Swindon Dolphins have been chosen to work with the South West Reiki & Counselling, Swindon
Regional Amateur Swimming Association to deliver Swim Links in
Swindon, an area that has lagged behind others in its provision of
disability swimming.
Sessions take place at Dorcan Sports Centre. On 3 and 4 November
the club is running a talent identifi cation weekend to discover if swim-
mers with disabilities could progress to become paralympic competitors.
The club’s Swim Links programme has been awarded the London
2012 Inspire mark, which recognises innovative and exceptional projects
that were directly inspired by the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic games.
