Madam Renards performance festival Getting Married?

Madam Renards, which is dedicated to producing and promoting profes-
sional performing arts in the Swindon area, launches a brand new arts Why not
festival for the town between 5 and 9 April.
Six shows including one act surrealist comedies, a Greek tragedy, drama, come and see our Swindon Wide

Swindon’s past & present at north and west libraries
An exhibition featuring work by young people, alongside images from Swin-
don photographer Albert Beaney taken over 50 years ago, will be on show at:
North Swindon Library from 29 March to 9 May and,
West Swindon Library from 10 May to 20 June.

Inspired by the collection of 40,000 photographs taken in and around the

town from the 1940s to the 1970s, the young people took pictures of Swin-
don today and interviewed those who appear as young people themselves

Lydiard Park Academy heads for the Wyvern

Dancers at Lydiard Park Academy are getting ready to put on a big show

under the school’s new name on Tuesday 4 June.

As part of the project members of the after-school dance club are running
workshops in West Swindon primary schools so that younger children can
also take part in the show called Top of the Pops.
The club meets every day with one session dedicated to cheerleaders who
will also be in the show.
