Bringing the town’s heritage to life
A new high quality magazine celebrating Swindon’s rich history is set to
be published at the end of January.
Swindon Heritage is the brain-
child of local historians Mark
Sutton and Frances Bevan, and
is edited by Graham Carter, who
put together the Swindon Ad- SALE
vertiser’s Chronicle of Swindon
in 2006.
Mark Sutton is an authority
on the First World War and was
the author of Tell Them of Us,
a record of Swindon men who STARTING
fought in the Great War, but he
