Join in with No Strings Badminton
Badminton fans looking for opponents or the chance to socialise with
other players can now join in at Link Centre.
No Strings Badminton is for players over 14 years and of any ability and
takes place from 6pm to 8pm on Fridays and Sundays.
There are no membership fees or contracts to commit to and no need to
book in advance. Everybody who comes along will get to play. Players are
matched up with suitable opponents in a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere.
Organiser Gerard Mootoo explained games are social or competitive and
coaching can be provided. The cost of playing is just £4.20 with a Swindon
Leisure Card – less than half the price of booking a court for exclusive use.
