Swindon Travel Choices

Swindon Travel Choices aims to make it easier for those living or working in
Swindon to get around without clogging up the road network. We believe that by
giving people proper travel choices, many everyday journeys can be made by
bus, bike and foot rather than by car.

Fill your spare seats this Liftshare week

In October, we’re asking people to consider filling their empty car seats – especially
for regular journeys such as the commute.
Not only will it mean cheaper petrol (by sharing the costs), it can be sociable,
and help to cut down congestion and queues. If everyone shared just one day a week, Swindon
traffic would be reduced to a level of the school holidays. Travel

Travel Advisors out and about in West Swindon
Our friendly team of travel advisors will be out and about in West Swindon throughout
October.
They will be visiting householders to offer information, free incentives and support
to try out new travel options that might benefit them – such as saving time and money,
getting a little more active or just enjoying less stressful ways of getting around
Swindon.
Look out for team members in their bright red uniforms. They will be calling on
every house in West Swindon to promote the wide range of travel choices,
free information and promotions we have on offer.
To complement this, there will be a series of sessions around West Swindon where
you can pick up travel information and advice and enter our competitions. For details
