Festival to get people fit and healthy
The early burst of summer in April
gave us a hint (hopefully) of what’s
to come and May’s Swindon Walk-
ing Festival aims to get people
together to enjoy the outdoors in
each other’s company.
During May there will be one-off
events and weekly guided walks on
offer. From wildlife strolls to fitness
trails, Nordic walking and health
walks, there will be short (under
five mile) walks around different
parts of the borough.
All the various groups walk at a
different pace, so there’s something
for everyone, no matter how fit you
