A nurse from Swindon has a full set of brand-new tyres for her vehicle courtesy of Tyre City in Swindon.
Alina Haracz was nominated by her sister, Christina Hodson, in Tyre City’s campaign celebrating the heroes keeping the country rolling during the coronavirus pandemic. Alina was nominated by Christina as recognition for all her hard work and the long hours she is currently working to help save lives.
The local tyre retailer called on the public to nominate the NHS and emergency service workers in their local area for the chance to win free tyres for their vehicle.
Tyre City has kept its centres open to support those who need to make essential journeys and as a result, the staff have seen first-hand the work that front line workers are putting in to serve their communities.
Alina Haracz said: “I am so thankful to Tyre City for my new tyres, it was lovely to receive this good news during such a difficult time. I work irregular shifts so my car is essential for me travelling to and from work. Thank you Tyre City for this gift and keep up the good work.”
Dave Latimer, centre manager at Tyre City in Swindon, said: “We are delighted to be helping celebrate local heroes all over the country. Everyone is doing a great job and being so creative to help where and when they can. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone working hard to keep the nation safe.”
