A new development has opened it doors to the public at the former Redlands airfield site to the East of Swindon off Wanborough Road.

Bellway South-West have welcomed house-hunters to Redlands Grove, near Swindon, for the first time in June.
The housebuilder opened a sales complex and two four-bedroom showrooms for anyone interested to look around.
Bellway is building 81 homes in the first phase of development, part of a wider new neighbourhood of up to 370 houses.
Christel Hawkins, Sales Manager for Bellway South West, said: “With work here progressing well, we have now been able to open our sales complex at Redlands Grove so that we can welcome visitors for the first time to the site.
“We also have two fabulous new showhomes to allow house-hunters to see inside a fully furnished and decorated property.

Bellway’s first phase at Redlands Grove includes 65 two, three and four-bedroom houses for private sale and 16 affordable properties available for local people through low-cost rent or shared ownership.
The development is just off Swindon, so people can still have the oppurtunity to enjoy it's pubs, bars and restraunts as well as having easy accsess to Swindon railway station.
The planning agreement for the site will see Bellway and Vistry invest more £5.3 million to help improve local infrastructure.
More than £3 million will be contributed towards education services, while sports facilities will receive more than £820,000, healthcare will get more than £200,000 and bus services £277,500.
There’s currently a choice of two, three and four-bedroom homes available to reserve at Redlands Grove, with prices starting at £324,995.
