Stratton St Margaret Parish Council has announced the grand opening of its newest initiative - the Stratton Community Pantry.

This vital resource aims to provide essential support to local residents in need by offering free access to food and household essentials.

The pantry is situated in the Beechcroft Library and is scheduled to open its doors on Tuesday 5 March at 10am. The pantry will be easily accessible to all members of the community, ensuring that no-one goes hungry or without basic necessities.

Through the generosity of local donors, the parish council, and community partners the pantry will offer a diverse range of food items, including canned goods, pasta, rice, cereals and more.

Additionally, essential household items such as toiletries, hygiene products, and cleaning supplies will be available to ensure that families have access to all the essentials they need to thrive.

The Community Pantry will operate on Tuesday 10am – 12pm and Friday 1pm – 3pm.

This will be open to any resident within the parish.

In addition to providing food assistance, the pantry will support the Community Hub in Beechcroft Library, connecting residents with additional support services and programs.
