The West Swindon Library will be reopening on Tuesday 11 June following its closure last year.
The library was closed last September due to flash flooding after severe storms, which affected the Link Centre. The flood caused severe damage to the whole library, destroying books, flooring, IT equipment and the delivery van.
The council's team, alongside Link Centre operator GLL, have announced that they will offering the majority of standard library services from next Tuesday. Work will continue to restore printing, scanning and photocopying over the coming weeks.
The library will reopen in a reduced space while other work continues.
A spokesperson said: "We'd like to thank everyone for their patience and support while the team have been working to re-open the library."
The new opening hours are:
Tuesday: 10am to 2pm
Wednesday: 1pm to 5pm
Friday: 10am to 2pm
Saturday: 10am to 1pm
The library will need to close again later this year for a short period to enable electrical works to take place to replace the flood-damaged systems.
