Community fete receives backing from local housebuilder

The Stratton Community Fete has received a generous boost from leading housebuilder Persimmon Wessex, who donated £1,000 through their charitable ‘Community Champions’ scheme.

The fete, to be held at the St Margaret's Centre in Stratton St Margaret on Saturday, September 14, from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm, attracts around 1,000 attendees from the local community. The event will feature live music, children's entertainment, a dog show, exhibitions of dancing and circus skills, a wide range of stalls, a food court and a bar.

Stratton Community Fete plays a vital role in bringing the community together, offering a day of fun and entertainment for all ages. The donation from Persimmon Wessex will support the organisation in hosting this beloved local event.

The prominent housebuilder has a long-held presence in Swindon and is currently building at its nearby Stanton Chase development where new homes are available for local families from £259,995.
