Wychwood Festival will soon be opening up for its biggest weekend yet, between 30 May and 1 June, and the final lineup of events and the full running order across the weekend has been revealed.

With so much to explore beyond the incredible live music lineup, this year boasts impressive names in the Comedy and Children’s Literature tents, plus a mouth-watering array of food and activities for all ages to enjoy.

Joining a star-studded main stage lineup - headlined by Shed Seven on Friday night, James on Saturday, and Doves on Sunday evening - an exciting selection of the best up-and-coming acts from the surrounding areas has been handpicked for Wychwood this year. Popular local bands Truck, Big Sky Orchestra, Aderyn, Pocket Sun, IDestroy, Jodie O, Roscoe Street, and Sophie and the Sticks will all showcase their talents across all the Main Stages.

Wychwood Comedy Club returns, kicking off six hours of daytime stand-up over the festival weekend with a jam-packed lineup on the Garden Stage. Headliners include renowned comedian, actor and writer Bridget Christie, Lost Voice Guy - the first stand-up comedian to use a communication aid - and variety star Steve Royle. Over 15 comics will bring laugh-out-loud moments to a fun-filled weekend, including Katie Pritchard, David Arnold, Peter Brush, Elaine Robertson, David Hoare, Jon Wagstaffe, Plastic Jeezus, Sunjai Arif, El Baldiniho, Tony Cowards, Adam Beardsmore, Ada Campe and Andrew O’Neill.

Wychwood Festival’s much-loved Children’s Literature lineup returns for 2025. Barbara’s Story Box - in loving memory of Barbara Pendrigh, who masterminded the Story Box events for so many years - will be filled with brilliant authors, captivating illustrators, and unforgettable tales on the Village Green.

On Friday, dive into the magical world of Unicorns and Fairies with Lucy Rowland, The Bear and the Piano with David Litchfield, and Disaster Diaries with Joanna Nadin. Capture a spark of inspiration on Saturday at The Perfect Present with Petr Horácek, enjoy The Curse of the Tomb Robbers with Andy Seed, witness Hank Goes Honk with Duncan Beedie, and explore Search for Carmella with Chloe Savage.

Sunday’s lineup features Do You See The Tiger? with Philip Ardagh and David Melling, Mission Microraptor with Philip Kavvadias, Shifty McGifty and Slippery Sam with Tracey Corderoy, and Solve Your Own Mystery with Gareth P. Jones — so many opportunities to meet the heroes behind some of the best-loved children’s stories.

Whilst Wychwood is renowned for its well-curated music and workshop lineups, that’s not all - there’s also an irresistible array of sensational street food on offer. Everyone at Cheltenham Racecourse will be craving the delights served by Gloucester’s Melted Cheese Company, Chick 'n' Sours, Gamekeeper, Harissa & Lemon, Waffle Wands, Oh Babu, and more - with a wide range of veggie, vegan and gluten-free options available.

Shaping up for the biggest year yet in Wychwood Festival’s history - with a live music lineup stacked with the likes of Public Service Broadcasting, The Zutons, Lottery Winners, Scouting for Girls, Lucy Spraggan, Ibibio Sound Machine and many more - the festival will also feature hundreds of activities for all ages, including Joe Wicks' P.E. session, and The National Trust’s Rager Rae and the Wildlifers Stage Show and Podcasting Workshop, to name a few.

Thousands are set for three days of idyllic camping beneath the Prestbury Hills between 30 May and 1 June at Wychwood Festival.
