The Citizens Advice Financial Wellbeing team will be available at a number of locations throughout June if you need any help with your finances.

Citizens Advice Swindon provides free, confidential, and impartial support to help you navigate financial difficulties, manage debt, and maximise your income.

A spokesperson said: “When Swindon resident Lincoln reached out to their Financial Wellbeing team, he was trapped in a financial crisis. His chronic illness had ended his ability to work, his income couldn’t meet rising bills and he had accumulated £3,225 in debt.

“Citizens Advice delivered a full rescue plan with emergency food support, including major income gains through benefit schemes worth £13,000 annually. Today, Lincoln’s debts are now under control.”

The Financial Wellbeing team will be available at these locations throughout June if you need any help with your finances:

  • Tuesday, 16 at John Moulton Hall, Penhill Drive (SN2 5DU) from 1pm to 2.30pm
  • Wednesday, 17 at St Mary’s Church Hall, Cheney Manor Road from 9.30am to 11am
