A fun day was held to launch the Blagrove Linear Park Sports and Nature trail running from Freshbrook to Mannington, between Great Western Way and the railway line. The open space was dotted with a range of outdoor gym equipment which no longer exists.
But the footpath through the now heavily overgrown area, masked from the road and railway line by tall trees, continues to be an important walking and cycling exercise and commuter route to Windmill Hill Business Park and Blagrove Employment Area close to M4 junction 16.
