Police are appealing for witnesses after a 16-year-old boy was assaulted in a road rage incident in Swindon.
The victim was riding his bike with his friend along Stratton Road at around 7.30pm on 21 November 2018, when his friend crossed the road in front of a car.
The vehicle stopped and the driver, who is described as a white man wearing a grey jumper, shouted at the pair, before getting out of his car and punching the 16-year-old in the face.
He suffered bruising to his face and jaw, lost a tooth and briefly lost consciousness.
PC Angela Holden, from Swindon North Community Policing Team, said: "This was an unprovoked attack which left a teenage boy with serious facial injuries.
"We want to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident, particularly anyone on the stretch of Stratton Road near to the entrance to the footpath which leads to the Matalan car park.
"Also, anyone who has CCTV or dash cam footage of the incident."
At this stage we don't have a description of the vehicle.
Anyone with information should call PC Holden on 101, quoting crime reference 54180110629. Alternatively you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
