2007 October: Duke of Gloucester presents opening plaques to seven North Swindon schools

On 29 October 2007, Prince Richard, Duke of Gloucester, toured Nova Hreod School and met students and staff to mark the opening of five Private Finance Initiative schools built in North Swindon over the previous three years. He was shown around Nova Hreod by headteacher Andrew Fleet before presenting plaques to staff and children from Nova Hreod and Isambard secondary schools, Moredon, Orchid Vale and Red Oaks primary schools and also Brimble Hill and Uplands Special Schools.
