1998 January: New church develops at Abbey Meads in North Swindon

In January 1998 congregation members of the Church of Christ the Servant were looking forward to a permanent home at Abbey Meads Village Centre. Deaconess Spinks, pictured said the church, which had formed 14 months earlier, had an important role to play in the spiritual and social life of the emerging community in the north Swindon expansion area.
