Police are appealing for information following a theft and assault at Tesco in Ocotal Way, Swindon.
At approximately 6.50pm on Saturday 20 April, a man entered the store and selected a boxed television from the shelves. He made no attempt to pay for the item, and then kicked his way through a fire escape door and ran off.
A security guard chased the man, and whilst trying to detain him, he was assaulted and sustained facial injuries.
Anyone who can help identify him should call police on 101 and quote crime reference number 54190037865.
