BBC Countryfile Live are on the look out for musicians, poets, dancers and comedians this summer to join the line-up at Blenheim Palace.

Local musicians and performers are invited to showcase their talents at BBC Countryfile Live this summer as part of an all new food and entertainment experience, The Graze Inn. The event returns to Blenheim Palace from Thursday 1 to Sunday 4 August.
Teaming up with Thatchers Cider, local acts are invited to showcase their talents on this brand-new stage, with over 50 performance slots available over four days. Programmers will be looking to select the widest range of talents possible. From poetry readings to live music, from stand-up comedy to dancing and from spoon playing to contortionists, everyone is welcome to apply for a performance spot in this new area.
Applications are now open to local performers of all disciplines who wish to showcase their talents to a family audience made up of thousands of visitors attending the event this summer. Expressions of interest outlining details of the act and any supporting media should be emailed to [email protected].
Selected applicants will be given tickets for themselves and a guest to attend Countryfile Live on the day of their performance and a £25 contribution towards travel costs.
A spokesperson for the event said: "Countryfile Live celebrates every part of the British countryside for a full experience of everything the programme cherishes.
"The event is a celebration of the British countryside and the programme embodies this with four days of live arena shows, debates, food, drink, farm-animal demonstrations and shopping from over 500 independent retailers and lifestyle brands, in the beautiful setting of Blenheim Palace."
The Countryfile team will be giving talks and hosting demonstrations, giving the public the chance to speak to, and learn more about, their favourite presenter. Visitors can also get involved in all the outdoors action at the Wildlife Zone, Equine Arena, National Trust Acre and Dog Lovers’ Arena, enjoy a pint of something local at the Craven Arms or take in all the fun of the fair at The Village Green.
In addition to The Graze Inn, the Le Creuset Kitchen Theatre hosted by Brian Turner will be on site with a host of celebrity chefs dishing up some culinary inspiration, while the Big Barn offers a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the production and creation of some of the BBC’s best-loved series. Visitors can enjoy a drink at the Craven Arms, where for the first time, John himself will host a daily pub quiz.
