Ed's Diner at Swindon's Designer Outlet has closed its doors permanently with "immediate effect".

As of yesterday Ed's Easy Diner at Swindon Designer Outlet has closed permenantly.

Diners heading to the American burger joint were greeted by a sign which read: "We regret to inform you that Ed's Easy Diner is now closed and will no longer be trading with immediate effect.

"We apologise for any inconvenience caused."

Earlier this year the Boparan Restaurant Group (BRG) - which owns both Ed's Easy Diner and Giraffe - announced it would be closing 27 of its restaurants across the UK. This closure comes after the chain entered a company voluntary arrangement (CVA) in March.

A spokesperson for McArthurGlen said: "We can confirm that Ed’s Diner has permanently closed at McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Swindon, with immediate effect."
