During the Autumn the Swindon branch of the Workers t Educational
Association would like, in association with the local community, to run
a number of courses at Toothill.
As an educational body, financed in the main by the Department of
Education and Science, the WEA is unique in the fact that the subject
matter of its courses is chosen by the students.
So far suggestions include The History of Toothill, and a course
for Community Committee Members. Other courses which we have staged in
Swindon include Oceanology, Archaeology, Creative Writing and Our Children's
World (with creche facilities).
If you are interested in any of the above, or if you have your own
suggestions for courses, we would be pleased if you would contact:

Employs nearly 200 full-time staff: tutor organisers, development
officers, administrative and secretarial staff.

* Over 170,000 students in 9,000 courses.
