TOOTHILL LINK LIVES OK? 3
Hello Folks!
y
,
As you can see, despite wh +* .je.said in our last issue,
once again the LINK wings its way to you C0IVPLETELY FREE OF CHARGE!
And as far as we can see this will remain the case for the rest of
1979!! Basically the reasons are that thanks to much hard work and
a deal of generosity from certain quarters, we have already managed
to raise sufficient funds for the next three issues...
Apart from generous sponsors such as Hambro Life, Wilcon
Homes & for this issue North Wilts D.C.(Not forgetting our own
Thamesdown B.C.), we have had strong local support not only in terms
of producing the paper, writing & typing articles,"pasting-up",etc.
but also in selling advertising space & helping at fund raising events.
In this latter context, the LINK Carnival Stall was a great success,
due largely to the fine array of goods on offer and we would especially
like to thank Mrs Mead, Pam Jary, Kath Richmond,Jenny Kingsbury & Amanda
Hopwood for their contributions of cakes, preserves, soft toys etc...All
went very quickly, non faster than the gingerbread menl
Nevertheless, despite this success we could still use help
in any shape or form.. RzIMEMBER the LINK is YOUR PAPER and if you or
any member of your family have any ideas or things to contribute, send
them to one of us or better still BRING them to a LINK meeting.....
(YOU'D BE VERY WELCOME)
Geoff Richmond.
