   birthday appeal

      The next issue of the Toothill Link (including Freshbrook Focus) in December will mark
      the end of its second year - a long time for a community newspaper run by volunteers to
      stay in existance. Sadly it is becoming increasingly difficult to get the paper to all
      the 2,500 households in the area. Readers will notice that we print a lot of advertising
       (too much perhaps), but even this income is only just covering printing costs. Yet we
      think its important that the paper should be delivered free so that nobody misses out on
      information.. These were the main points made at our recent Annual General Meeting.
      So...As its our Birthday and its near enough to Christmas, we are making a BIG appeal to
      our readers - YOU - to support the future of this paper by making a Donation. Please
      could you help by sending or taking some money to the following people who live close
       to you: Geoff Richmond, 23 Luddesdown; Ruth Ogle, 42 Bellver; Bob Bannister 5 Kirkstall;
      John Wilson, 54 Pendennis; Mrs. Mead 4 Beverley; Mr. Rowden 39 Markenfield; Gloria
