TAKING SHAPE

At work at Freshbrook Village Centre is
Hideo Furuta, our Community Sculptor. He is
chipping away at about 10 tons of stone and
over the next few months will create in
front of everybody's eyes a piece of art for
       all to appreciate.

Unfair to under-2's THINKING OF SELLING?

I read with interest in the March
edition that the Link Centre has finally
converted a room for parents to change and
feed babies and toddlers. Although this is Turn I nto
a step in the right direction, I am left
wondering why the Link does not offer a For O
                                                                               ►e

2's. Many mums feel that they are being
      penalised when participating in recreation-
al activities because of the lack of this
facility. At present, the mums themselves
have to 'take turns' in running a creche
                                                               instruct
on a Monday morning if they want to get
involved in the Ladies Recreation - but
miss part of the session by having to do so.
The creche for the over 2's is well run,
and I believe that Thamesdown and The Link
should offer the same facility for the
2's - mums with younger babies need to get 23 Commercial Road, Swindon
out of their home from time to time, and Tel: (0793) 34877
this would be a good incentive for them NOW!
to use the excellent facilities offered
by the Link. • Free valuations without obligation.
