Community Centre News
For those of you who use the Freshbrook Community Centre on a regular basis you will
have notice that we have been having problems with the flooring for some time.
After lengthy discussions with the architects, builders and members of Thamesdown Council
it has been decided to carpet the affected area. Work should start in the near future.
This may cause some disruption to users. If you can bear with us the work should not
take long to be completed.
The Committee has raised enough funds for a public phone to be installed in the main
foyer between the ladies toilets and the Main Hall doors. This work should be
completed in five weeks. At this time the money raised was not enough to include a
hood and when there are sufficient funds of about £140.00 this will be installed.
