Residents of a Wimpey estate in Shaw discovered that it doesn't need a Royal
Wedding to get people out to have a street party. They just got on and had
one.
The party in the Orkney Close area at the beginning of July brought 83
adults, 47 children and 14 infants together for a barbeque and games during
the afternoon which carried on as an adults only disco in the evening. SHAW VILLAGE
