School crossing on Corton Crescent - in need of close supervision
A road crossing point is proving
to be a danger point for children
at Westlea School.
Every week classes of children
walk to the Link Centre from the
school to take swimming lessons.
They have to cross Corton Cres-
cent at the rear of the West Swin-
don Centre at a point where it is
difficult to see around a danger-
ous bend.
Commenting on the situation,
headteacher Neil Griffiths said
he was very worried that there
will be a serious accident one day.
"The cars, buses and lorries travel
very quickly along the road.
