Paul Reed and year 10 student Kate Ponting.
Parents at Hreod Parkway School were able to stock up on bedding
plants and hanging baskets at a parents evening on 22 May.
The plants on sale were the result of hard work by a dozen year 7 and
year 10 students who gave up their lunch breaks to work in the school
greenhouse.
Parents of present and former pupils assist with the organisation of
the project which is now in its fourth year. Paul Reed assists with the
planting of seeds and potting on while Maureen Selwood acts as
treasurer.
