                                                         Parents at Hreod Parkway School were able to stock up on bedding
                                                         plants and hanging baskets at a parents evening on 22 May.
                                                           The plants on sale were the result of hard work by a dozen year 7 and
                                                         year 10 students who gave up their lunch breaks to work in the school
                                                         greenhouse.
                                                           Parents of present and former pupils assist with the organisation of
                                                         the project which is now in its fourth year. Paul Reed assists with the
                                                         planting of seeds and potting on while Maureen Selwood acts as
                                                         treasurer.
