      A closer look at Priory Vale's schools




        Learning Campus facilities
        The following facilities and more should be available at the Learning
        Campus during 2006 (subject to reuiezv):
        Multi-Agency Unit, hydrotherapy pool, physiotherapy,

        speech therapy
        Available for Brimble Hill and Uplands Special School pupils, the
        community and health professionals.
        Youth Centre
        Available at evenings and weekends, the centre will feature a large
        room that can be divided into three or four smaller areas, lockable
        storage, tea, coffee and refreshments, and more. During the day, the
        schools may also use the centre for small group work with pupils
        displaying anti-social behaviour.
        Police room
        This room will give local police as presence at the Campus, should they
        require it.
           Sports hall
           As part of the Campus' mainstream secondary school, the sports hall
           will be available to the public when not used by the schools.
           Playing pitches
           Grass and all-weather playing pitches which, when not used by the
           schools, will be available to book through Equion Facilities Management.

        Mainstream Primary School (PS6)
        This two-form entry primary school for 4 to 11 year olds will open in
        September 2006. Located within the Campus, the school will be a safe,
        colourful and stimulating environment featuring play areas, sports
        pitches and fencing for security.
        Designed with an attractive top-lit entrance and appealing curved
        corridors, this inviting school will provide such facilities as a dining

        area, librar , information technologies, art and food technology
        classrooms, plus external classrooms and covered areas.
