Liverpool beckons young player
ii Colin Hickey, 12, from The Prinnells has another chance to impress
coaches at one of the country's top soccer academies.
The football mad lad who at-
tends Bradon Forest School will
spend three days at Liverpool FC
in April learning drills and devel-
_to] oping skills.
Colin attended the academy two
years ago and hopes this time his
talents are spotted for future at-
tention. In January he transferred
to AFC Lydiard under 12s and has
quickly made his mark by scoring
seven goals for the team.

BATTERIES Colin's former team at Brook Field Primary School is making an
impact in local schools' soccer.
In late February the squad won the Swindon area round of the 6-a-

late March, with a trip to the finals competition in Cardiff's Millennium
