SERVICES FOR YOUNG PEOPLE

Student Services are based in the Learning

Support wing and provide advice, help and
guidance for students. Parent Line, Absence
Line and Student Service cards are run
through Student Services. They also deal

with sale of equipment, hire of balls, drying
of clothes, lost property, timetables and
reports and medical and first aid facilities.

They are the interface between parents and
the teams of teachers and learning support
staff.

The Stellar Diner and Food Store are run by

Avenance a company that prepares most of
its meals from scratch using fresh produce
and believes that it also has a responsibility

to work with us to inform students about
healthy eating and lifestyle.

Breakfast, break-time snacks and lunches are
served daily and purchased through student

service cards.

The Access and Inclusion Team of staff

provide counselling, mentoring, health
support and interventions to develop
learning and social skills for individuals and J
groups. We work closely with the Primary
Health Trust. Nurses provide a regular sexual

health clinic and there is a Child Paediatrician 0
Clinic each month.
The Connexions adviser is based on site and

provides college and career guidance and
the Vocational Training Officer organises
work placements and part-time courses for
our students at other colleges.
