MED FORCES DAY
27 JUNE

inSwindon BID Company are working with the armed forces to bring you a week
of events to celebrate the National Armed Forces Week. During the week inSwindon
engage with the young people of Swindon to express the importance of Veteran's
and what they have done for the count ry.

FLY A FLAG FOR OUR ARMED FORCES

Monda 22nd June
The national hoisting of a specially-commissioned Armed Forces Day flag around
the country will be held at the Civic Offices at 10.30am.

VETERANS BADGE CEREMONY

Wednesday 24th June
inSwindon will be holding a Retailers Veteran's Badge Ceremony for all the retailers in Swindon
Town Centre. The ceremony will be held at Wharf Green at 11.00am.

FAMILY FUNDAY

Saturday 27th June
A day full of activities in the town centre and the park on Faringdon Road.
Forces charities and recruitment stands will be joining the adventure activities including military
gun runs, Imps motorcycle and bird display, climbing watts, assault courses plus many more.

The Family Funday opens at 11.00am at Faringdon Road Park by the Mayor of Swindon.
Events and activities will run at Faringdon Road Park and Swindon Town Centre through till 5.00pm.

A downloadable events guide will be available week commencing 22nd June.
All activities will be free of charge but collection tins will be available for donations
that will go towards the forces charities.

MILITARY PARADE
Sunday 28th June

The parade will form at 2.30pm up Granville Street Car Park.
It will roceed via Commercial Road,
