The Link is looking to readers of all ages to help
brighten up the town - in a virtual sense.
Taking our inspiration from how real buildings around
the world have been decorated - see www.favelapaint-
ing.com as an example - we want you to show how
Swindon could be made more colou rful.
The demolition of the BHS store in the town centre
has revealed the pe rfect canvas for your ideas - the
unseen John Street side of Alexander House on
Fleming Way. Bring this tired white tiled 70s block to
   life with colour and design.
The online gallery at www.swindonlink.com will
display contributions. Already we have images by
Photoshop users Alan Parry, Sam Allen, Jon LeBon
   and Richard Howell.
Download the original image from the site. If you're
not too sure how to work these wonders in
Photoshop, Alan has provided a step-by-step guide.
Submissions in other applications are equally
acceptable. Don't worry if you don't have an im-
age manipulation programmes. Jon has produced a
li ne-art version of the building to print and colour, or
decorate in any medium you can imagine.
Take a digital picture of your work and mail it back.
