          Vet helps rescue Haiti animals
Thameswood Veterinary Clinics held a fundraising open day as part
of National Pet Month to help the World Society for the Protection of
Animals care for wild and companion animals following January's
   earthquake in Haiti.
Visitors had behind the scenes tours of the clinic and received advice
on keeping pets healthy and children were able to meet Roxy-Anna, the
lovable and still growing Great Dane, a giant bunny and looked inside
   a creepy crawly box.
Giovanna Hartley of Thameswood said, "we are very pleased to have
been able to give £500 to the WSPA and would like to say a huge thank
you to all who attended and helped us raise monies for the animals that
are not quite as fortunate as our own."
