                                                          Keeping chickens seems to be this year's must try activity and the
                                                          Swindon Allotment & Leisure Gardens Association is organising a
                                                          talk on best practice.
                                                            On Thursday 15 July, 7.30pm, at Gorse Hill Community Centre, Val
                                                          Moody will talk about bird welfare and how to ensure good egg produc-

                                                                  Something fishy at Peatmoor
                                                          Swindon Council park rangers are organising a Fishing for Fun angling
                                                          day for all ages and abilities on Saturday 17 July, 10am to 4pm, close
                                                          to the beach at Peatmoor Lagoon.
                                                            Turn up and take part in a free taster event, with licensed coaches
                                                          on hand to advise and all equipment is provided. All you need is a hat
                                                          and sun block.

                                                              Marking a decade with a challenge
                                                          Youngsters from Peatmoor Primary School celebrated the school's
                                                          tenth anniversary with a week of activity on the theme of rising to the
                                                          challenge of striving to do better by enjoying learning.
