Since November 2009 the North
Swindon Fundraising Group of
five have raised £3,200 through dog
shows, walks and collections which
raise funds for sick and injured pets.
At an award ceremony on 15 Feb-
ruary, group leader, Brent Boxley,
said, “we’re absolutely delighted
and very surprised to have won
this award. We’re all extremely pas-
sionate about pets and are honoured
to be helping to raise vital funds
for such a worthy cause. It’s hard
work, but when an event is well
attended and makes lots of money
for the charity, that’s when it’s all
worthwhile.”
